  2. Those are 2 beautiful photos! Do you ask their permission or is your lens such you can take them undetected??!! On our recent Uganda trip, it is understood that unless you ASK if you can take their photo then you shouldn’t and it is against the law to take pictures of police or military. We did get some of tea pickers with their permission but most of them would either cover their face or turn away!! Happy picture taking!! Love, Carol

    • I generally seek permission either by asking or showing my camera and holding it up to my eye to communicate I’d like to take a photo. A no is clearly understood.
